Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Ekonomist/Kontabilist role based in Obilic. The role involves managing daily accounting operations, including recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, and preparing periodic financial reports. The Ekonomist/Kontabilist will monitor project costs, track invoices and payments, support budgeting and forecasting, and assist with cash flow management. The role includes preparing documentation for tax reporting and regulatory compliance, collaborating with project managers and leadership to provide accurate financial data, and supporting internal controls and audit activities. The individual will also contribute to process improvements within the finance function to support the company’s growth and stability.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in financial accounting, bookkeeping, and preparation of financial statements.
• Experience with budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis, ideally within construction or project-based environments.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel), with attention to accuracy and detail.
• Knowledge of local tax regulations, financial reporting standards, and compliance requirements in Kosovo.
• Relevant degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Ability to work on-site, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a structured and organized working style.
• Professional integrity, reliability, and willingness to learn and adapt to evolving business needs.
