About the Role

BE Associates is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team and support an international client with operations across Hong Kong (HK) and the UAE.

This role will take ownership of the accounting and consolidated financial reporting across both entities, ensuring accurate, timely, and consistent financial information.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage consolidated financial reporting across the HK and UAE entities.
• Produce and review Profit & Loss (P&L), Balance Sheet, and other required financial and management reports.
• Ensure financial information across both entities is accurate, complete, and reported consistently.
• Manage month-end reporting and support the wider month-end and year-end close processes.
• Perform reconciliations and investigate discrepancies where required.
• Maintain clear and accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
• Work alongside the existing Hong Kong accounting team to align processes, reporting standards, and financial information.
• Coordinate with the HK team when required, although this is expected to be light-touch collaboration rather than a significant part of the role.
• Support management with additional financial analysis and reporting as required.
• Help maintain and improve accounting processes and reporting controls across both entities.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong professional experience in accounting and financial reporting.
• Solid understanding of P&L, Balance Sheet, reconciliations, and month-end reporting.
• Experience preparing or supporting consolidated accounts across multiple entities.
• Strong Excel and financial reporting skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to take ownership of reporting responsibilities and work independently.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Experience working with international businesses or multi-entity structures is highly desirable.
• Previous exposure to HK and/or UAE accounting environments would be an advantage.
