Social Media & Content Officer

Position Overview

American School of Kosova seeks a creative, well-organized Social Media & Content Officer to contribute to the school’s social media, website, and digital communications.

The selected candidate will develop compelling content, represent school life professionally and authentically, and keep all digital channels active, accurate, and aligned with the ASK brand.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee the school’s social media editorial calendar.
• Produce and post material for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and other suitable channels.
• Photograph and film school activities, events, students, and staff members.
• Edit photos and videos, producing reels, stories, graphics, and additional digital materials.
• Prepare clear, appealing captions, announcements, and promotional materials in English and Albanian.
• Keep the ASK website updated using WordPress.
• Design, launch, manage, track, and improve Meta advertising campaigns on Facebook and Instagram, covering audience targeting, budgets, lead-generation forms, and performance reports, in support of enrollment and school promotion.
• Document school events, classroom work, student accomplishments, and community projects.
• Coordinate closely with school departments, teachers, and leadership to gather details and develop content.
• Review social-media messages and comments, forwarding inquiries to the relevant department.
• Track website and social-media results and create basic reports.
• Arrange and maintain the school’s digital archive of photos, videos, and content.

Requirements

• A degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Graphic Design, Journalism, or a related discipline.
• Relevant background in social media, digital communication, content production, or a comparable position.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Albanian skills.
• Solid skills in photography, video filming, and editing.
• Experience managing WordPress websites, Meta Business Suite, social-media analytics, paid advertising, ManyChat, and relevant AI tools.
• Familiarity with Canva, CapCut, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, basic SEO, and website analytics is considered an advantage.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Capacity to handle multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.
• Creativity, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.
• Availability to occasionally cover school activities or events beyond normal working hours.
