Freelance Site Architect – Residential RenovationsAbout AlbNova
AlbNova provides residential renovation and fit-out services across Albania, including bathrooms, kitchens, flooring, tiling, pools, plumbing, electrical works and interior planning.
We are looking for a Freelance Site Architect to carry out property visits and prepare accurate renovation plans and designs for our projects.
The Role
This is a project-based freelance position, with payment agreed per completed property/assignment.
The architect will be responsible for:
Visiting customer properties for assigned projects.
Inspecting and measuring the existing space.
Recording dimensions, photographs and relevant site conditions.
Preparing accurate existing-condition plans.
Creating proposed layouts and renovation designs for bathrooms, kitchens/kitchenettes, pools and other residential spaces.
Identifying practical site constraints that may affect the proposed design.
Preparing and submitting clear CAD/PDF drawings and measurements to AlbNova.
Making reasonable revisions where measurements or project requirements require clarification.
Coordinating with the AlbNova project lead when necessary.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Architecture or higher – required.
Ability to carry out accurate on-site measurements and property surveys.
Proficiency in AutoCAD or equivalent architectural drawing software.
Ability to prepare clear floor plans, layouts and renovation drawings.
Good understanding of residential construction and interior renovation.
Ability to work independently and meet agreed deadlines.
Ability and willingness to travel to assigned properties.
Albanian communication skills required; English is an advantage.
Previous experience with bathroom, kitchen, interior or residential renovation projects is preferred.
A professional architectural licence is an advantage and may be required for assignments involving regulated design, approval or professional sign-off.
