Responsibilities
In the Backend Developer role, your focus will be accounting software, including the design, development, and upkeep of the server-side logic, databases, and APIs that power our accounting software (ERP). You will work alongside front-end developers, software architects, clients, and product managers to integrate features smoothly and achieve optimal performance. Thorough documentation of both code and system architecture will also be your responsibility, supporting subsequent maintenance and updates. You will apply your knowledge of backend technologies, database management, and accounting principles to build reliable, scalable solutions aligned with client needs. Identifying and resolving defects, supported by comprehensive testing and fixes, will be essential to maintaining software stability and reliability. Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices will be beneficial when contributing to continuous integration, deployment, and infrastructure monitoring.
Qualifications
- A sound grasp of software architecture fundamentals and design patterns.
- Strong problem-solving ability, including diagnosing and resolving complicated backend issues.
- Practical experience using version control tools such as Git and working within collaborative development processes.
