Role summary
Estapick is building the most modern real estate platform in Kosovo and the region, with 800+ verified listings, 50+ partner agencies and AI-powered search across 9+ countries. Every search, listing and enquiry has to work every time, in every language we support and on whatever phone or laptop a buyer uses. As our Junior QA Engineer in Prishtina, your job is to find problems before our users do. You'll learn testing from the ground up on a product people use to find a home.
What you'll do
- Test new features before release on desktop and mobile. That includes listings, map and AI search, agency profiles, payments and our admin panel.
- Report bugs in Jira so anyone can reproduce them: steps, expected vs. actual result, screenshots or recordings. Then follow each one through to the fix.
- Build and maintain test cases and regression checklists so every release gets checked the same way.
- Explore the product before each deployment, looking for the edge cases that normal use misses.
- Check the site across browsers, screen sizes and all our supported languages.
- Work with developers and product every day to clarify requirements and confirm fixes. As you grow, you'll start on test automation.
What you bring
Required
- Fluent English, written and spoken. You'll use it every day for bug reports, documentation and team communication.
- 0–2 years of QA or software testing experience. Internships, bootcamps, freelance work and personal projects all count.
- A solid grasp of testing basics: test cases, the bug life cycle, and regression vs. exploratory testing.
- Attention to detail, and the patience to keep reproducing a bug until you can say exactly when it happens.
- Basic use of browser DevTools, such as inspecting elements and reading console errors.
- Curiosity. Your first instinct is to ask "what happens if…?"
Bonus
- Albanian.
- ISTQB Foundation or another QA course or certificate.
- Experience with Jira or a similar issue tracker.
- Any exposure to test automation (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium or Puppeteer) or basic JavaScript/TypeScript.
- API testing with Postman or a similar tool.
- Testing on real iOS and Android devices.
