The company seeks an Intune / MDM Expert to lead modern device-management and software-packaging work for German client environments. English is the working language for daily projects.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage Microsoft Intune for Windows, iOS/iPadOS, Android, and macOS when required.
- Oversee the entire mobile-device lifecycle, including enrollment, compliance, configuration, application deployment, wipe/retire actions, and user assistance.
- Set up Windows Autopilot, enrollment profiles, configuration profiles, compliance policies, and update rings.
- Prepare and roll out software packages, including Win32 (.intunewin), MSI, MSIX, Store apps, line-of-business apps, detection rules, dependencies, and supersedence.
- Set up Conditional Access, app protection policies (MAM), and mobile-app configuration.
- Connect Intune with Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Defender for Endpoint, and existing on-premises identity systems in hybrid environments.
- Administer groups, filters, assignment logic, and role-based administrative permissions.
- Resolve client issues in Germany involving enrollment, policies, applications, and compliance.
- Create standards, runbooks, and packaging recipes, ensuring processes are clean and repeatable for handover.
- Assist with rollouts, device renewals, and migrations from traditional tools, including SCCM/MECM co-management and GPO-to-Intune.
- Guide clients on device lifecycles, security baselines, and practical MDM best practices.
Candidate profile
- Several years of practical Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager experience, typically 3+ years.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of MDM for Windows as well as iOS and Android mobile devices.
- Sound experience with software packaging, including Win32, MSI, detection rules, silent installation/uninstallation, and supersedence.
- Experience using Autopilot, compliance policies, configuration profiles, and Conditional Access.
- Ability to troubleshoot confidently through Intune reports, Company Portal, and device logs.
- Excellent written and spoken business-level English, which is mandatory for client work.
- German is beneficial for DACH client workshops but is not required.
- A structured and dependable approach to work, combined with clear documentation skills.
- Microsoft certification MD-102 (Endpoint Administrator) is expected or considered a strong advantage; MS-102 is also welcome.
- Additional advantages include co-management with Configuration Manager, Defender for Endpoint, Zebra / rugged devices, Apple Business Manager, Android Enterprise, PowerShell, and Graph API.
