LS Global focuses on improving business operations internationally through specialized outsourcing services. The company is hiring on behalf of a client for the Inventory Control Specialist role. This position is centered on keeping inventory records precise, improving stock management, and maintaining reliable data across all distribution channels. The role also acts as an important contact point for inventory control processes, detecting inconsistencies and working closely with internal teams to uphold effective controls and strong operational performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate, plan, communicate, review, and process yearly physical inventory counts for retail stores and Support Center sites in cooperation with internal and external stakeholders.
- Analyze transactions to identify the causes of shrink and recognize any patterns associated with inventory loss.
- Produce transaction-level information for the company’s inventory roll forward and verify that the data is complete and accurate before it is shared.
- Detect and address problems connected to product receiving, purchase orders, intracompany transfers, and shipments from distribution centers.
- Ensure continuous accuracy of inventory records, inventory costing, and shrink calculations, including a working understanding of weighted average cost calculations.
- Compile, review, and circulate departmental reports by using JDA Query writer, Excel, and Excel Query.
Requirements
- Associate degree or 2 years related experience
- Solid analytical and problem-solving ability
- Intermediate or higher proficiency in Excel
- Excellent customer service skills supported by strong spoken and written communication
- Capacity to manage multiple tasks and set priorities effectively even when scale, scope, or deadlines change
- Strong organizational ability with close attention to detail
- A positive and cooperative attitude, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills with English C1 proficiency
