EchoNut creates sustainable acoustic panels using natural and recycled materials. The company's solutions bring together contemporary interior design and practical acoustic performance for spaces such as offices, hotels, restaurants, conference rooms, and other commercial environments.
To help expand its project operations, EchoNut is seeking an Interior Architecture Intern (m/f/d) who is interested in gaining practical experience in the planning and execution of acoustic interior solutions while working closely with the team.
Your Responsibilities
- Assist with on-site measuring of client premises and buildings.
- Help document room sizes, wall surfaces, ceiling heights, and other relevant structural details.
- Contribute to the preparation and revision of floor plans.
- Support the planning of EchoNut acoustic panel placement.
- Help determine the required panel surface in m² and estimate the number of panels needed.
- Offer input for interior concepts for offices, restaurants, hotels, and other commercial settings.
- Assist in preparing simple visualizations and presentation materials for customers.
- Support coordination among customers, sales, production, and installation teams.
- Help compile documentation needed for production and installation.
- Assist the team in developing standardized planning concepts for EchoNut.
Your Profile
- Currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from, Interior Architecture, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related discipline.
- Initial experience with interior space planning through studies, projects, or an earlier internship is considered an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of floor plans, measurements, and area calculations.
- Strong interest in spatial design, materials, and proportions.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Archicad, SketchUp, or comparable software.
- Motivated, self-reliant, and organized in your way of working.
- Able to communicate comfortably with both customers and team colleagues.
- Professional command of English; German is an added benefit.
- An interest in acoustics is helpful, though it is not mandatory.
