The company is currently seeking an HSEQ Manager for its partners' team in Libya. This position offers involvement in important international projects and provides valuable international exposure, creating a strong opportunity for career development.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply and uphold health, safety, environment, and quality (HSEQ) policies and standards.
- Carry out workplace inspections together with safety audits.
- Conduct risk evaluations and detect possible hazards.
- Review incidents, accidents, and near-miss cases.
- Prepare and deliver safety training sessions and awareness initiatives.
- Oversee whether contractors and suppliers follow health and safety requirements.
- Provide support for the Permit to Work (PTW) system and other activities involving elevated risk.
- Make sure safety procedures are implemented for zoo visitors and animals.
- Take part in emergency readiness planning and evacuation exercises.
- Keep HSEQ documentation and compliance records accurate and up to date.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any field.
- At least 10 years of relevant professional experience.
- Strong spoken and written communication skills in English.
