The company is currently seeking a Fire Safety and Emergency Preparedness Officer to join the team of its partners in Libya. This position offers the chance to contribute to important international projects and to gain valuable experience in an international environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare fire safety policies and carry out fire risk evaluations.
- Put emergency response measures and evacuation procedures into practice.
- Organize emergency drills, fire simulation exercises, and training activities.
- Check firefighting equipment, fire alarm systems, and fire suppression installations.
- Work closely with civil protection institutions and emergency response bodies.
- Assist with incident investigations and the implementation of corrective measures.
- Advance awareness of fire safety through training initiatives and related programs.
- Make sure all fire safety and emergency preparedness rules are followed.
- Oversee emergency procedures related to zoo facilities and animals.
- Help maintain crowd safety during events and periods with high visitor numbers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any field.
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
- Strong spoken and written communication skills in English.
