Job Description
What are we looking for?
PECB is seeking an IT Security Content Developer to create its core product, namely training courses. In this role, the selected candidate is expected to become well acquainted with the subject matter, carry out the needed research, gather trustworthy and relevant information, and turn it into original content that is clear, precise, and professionally written in English.
About the position
This position focuses on researching, preparing, and writing original course materials related to IT security, while making sure the content is accurate, logically organized, and easy to understand in English.
Main Responsibilities
- Create, structure, enhance, and revise educational materials, including training courses, written exercises, quizzes, correction keys, case studies, exams, and sample training course content
- Produce, refine, and maintain marketing materials connected to educational content, such as articles, whitepapers, brochures, and course descriptions
- Prepare training course materials on a range of information technology topics based on ISO standards or other recognized best practices, including information security, cybersecurity, privacy management, cloud security, information security risk management, ethical hacking, digital transformation, computer forensics, and related areas
- Identify ideas and opportunities for strengthening the educational content
- Collaborate closely with the supervisor, team members, and colleagues from other departments, particularly in matters related to improving educational materials
- Contribute to projects at different phases of development
- Keep pace with the latest industry developments and build a solid understanding of the target audience and market
- Carry out other related tasks assigned by management
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, or final year of studies, in Cybersecurity, Information Security, IT Security, Computer Sciences, IT, Programming, Telecommunications, Networking, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong English reading comprehension and writing ability; academic writing skills are considered an advantage
- Very good research capabilities
- Required knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Word and PowerPoint
- High level of attention to detail
- Readiness to learn new topics and concepts, grow professionally, and both challenge and contribute ideas
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure, think creatively, and follow through in a dynamic environment
- Excellent interpersonal abilities
- Openness to feedback and constructive criticism
