Application Support / 2nd-Level Support Specialist (2)
This position offers a varied and demanding scope of work focused on supporting and advising clients. The role involves addressing user-related issues, identifying suitable solutions, and maintaining a high standard of technical assistance. It is a dedicated support function rather than a traditional call center role, with work centered on a stable portfolio of existing clients and incoming calls only.
Your responsibilities include:
- Managing incidents, information inquiries, and change requests connected with time recording for staff, projects, orders, operational data, and access control systems
- Entering and categorizing details within the ticketing system
- Examining and resolving problems and questions by phone
- Forwarding incident reports when needed and following them through
- Delivering technical assistance to users of the application
- Setting up and configuring RTM software
- Carrying out additional duties, including the implementation of change requests and the delivery of customer training sessions
Your profile:
- Education or additional qualification in IT / Business Informatics / Mediamatics, or a commercial / business administration background combined with an affinity for IT, or another similar professional qualification
- Solid IT knowledge together with good skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Professional knowledge of databases (MS SQL) or readiness to learn it
- Previous experience in customer support or in working with standard software, along with basic familiarity with Swiss labor law, is considered an advantage
- Strong written and spoken German; knowledge of other languages such as French, English, or Italian is an additional benefit
