The company is currently seeking an Animal Nutrition Supervisor to join the team of its partners in Libya. This role offers the chance to contribute to important international projects while gaining valuable experience abroad, making it a strong opportunity for professionals aiming to develop their careers and expand their experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead animal nutrition planning by creating nutrition programs tailored to different species, designing balanced diets, and overseeing feeding routines.
- Oversee the daily preparation of food, confirm that portions are appropriate, and ensure distribution happens on time.
- Organize food procurement and stock control by forecasting needs, tracking deliveries, keeping inventory documentation, and reducing waste as much as possible.
- Ensure proper food storage and safety by upholding hygiene standards in storage spaces, checking expiration dates, preventing contamination, and maintaining compliance with regulations.
- Support veterinary-related nutrition needs by helping prepare therapeutic diets, addressing special dietary requirements, and contributing to animal welfare activities.
- Supervise food storekeepers and animal keepers, arrange staff schedules, and coordinate employee training.
- Keep records related to animal nutrition, prepare reports, and assist during inspections and audit processes.
- Contribute to pre-opening preparations by drafting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), setting up the required capacities, coordinating procurement activities, and recruiting and training staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
- Strong spoken and written communication skills in English.
