Connect Consulting is seeking an Accountant for its Prishtina team. The ideal candidate has practical accounting experience in Kosovo, can manage daily accounting activities independently, and is able to prepare and interpret financial statements.

Keep accounting documentation for client companies in line with Kosovo accounting and tax regulations.
Complete and file tax declarations through ATK (Tax Administration of Kosovo).
Manage company procedures and related documents with ARBK (Kosovo Business Registration Agency).
Enter and monitor sales, purchases, bank movements, payroll, and other accounting transactions.
Reconcile accounts and ensure general ledger records remain correct.
Produce Trial Balances, Balance Sheets, Income Statements, and additional financial reports.
Analyse financial statements to detect inconsistencies and matters that need attention.
Assist clients with regular accounting, tax, and administrative issues.
Make sure accounting files and supporting documents are correct, complete, and appropriately retained.

A minimum of 1 year of hands-on accounting experience is required.
At least 1 year of practical experience with Kosovo accounting practices, including ATK procedures and familiarity with ARBK processes.
Ability to independently prepare and interpret Balance Sheets, Income Statements, Trial Balances, and related financial reports.
Solid understanding of Kosovo tax and accounting practices.
Strong Excel proficiency and confidence in handling accounting data.
High attention to detail and accuracy, with the capacity to manage several client accounts and deadlines.
English is required.
Turkish is a significant advantage.
Albanian proficiency is expected for cooperation with local institutions and handling documentation.
