Job Title: Social Media Video Editor (Remote)

• YouDoGood is a creative agency helping charities and purpose-led brands reach the next generation online. Based out of London but operating with clients across the globe.
• We specialise in high-impact short-form video content that builds communities, drives engagement, and delivers real-world impact.

The Role:

• Edit and shape fast-paced, engaging short-form content across TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts (and increasingly Snapchat) for leading charities and impact-driven organisations.
• Focus on creating content that performs in terms of views, user growth and engagement, not just technical cuts.

What you’ll be doing:

• Editing high-volume short-form video content (multiple videos per day)
• Turning raw footage into scroll-stopping, high-retention content
• Adding captions, effects, sound design and pacing that drive engagement
• Collaborating with the team on content ideas, hooks and formats
• Iterating quickly based on performance and feedback
• Supporting across multiple client campaigns monthly

What we are looking for:

• Proven ability to create fast-paced, highly engaging short-form video
• Strong instinct for hooks, pacing and retention
• Experience editing for TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts
• Ability to produce multiple high-quality videos daily
• Understanding of social media algorithms and trends
• Confidence contributing ideas and creative direction, not just execution
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work quickly under deadlines

Reference style:

• Strawberries & Creem socials — Instagram, TikTok and YouTube Shorts

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have):

• Experience creating content for Snapchat
• Ability to design thumbnails and static social content
• Motion graphics / animation skills
• Experience working with charities or purpose-led brands
