Short description: The Tour Guide will lead and educate visitors at BEAR SANCTUARY Prishtina, ensuring an informative and enjoyable experience for individuals, families, organized groups, and school classes. The role involves delivering educational activities and presentations to raise awareness about animal welfare and supporting the sanctuary team in organizing events and materials.

Responsibilities:

• Guiding visitors along the visitor path at BEAR SANCTUARY Prishtina and ensuring they have an informative and enjoyable experience.
• Providing engaging information about bears, the work of BEAR SANCTUARY Prishtina, and the mission of FOUR PAWS.
• Organizing and leading tours for individuals, families, and organized groups.
• Working closely with school groups (kindergarten, elementary school, and others) to deliver educational and interactive experiences.
• Implementing educational activities and presentations for students to raise awareness about animal welfare and wildlife protection.
• Accompanying visitors to designated viewing areas and guiding them throughout their visit.
• Coordinating with the customer service team to ensure a smooth and well-organized visitor experience.
• Ensuring that all visitors follow the sanctuary’s rules and safety guidelines during tours.
• Supporting the team in organizing internal events and special activities (e.g., special days, holidays, and educational events).
• Assisting in the preparation of educational materials developed by BEAR SANCTUARY Prishtina.
• Providing translation or interpretation support when colleagues or visitors experience language barriers.

Profile (Your profile ideally illustrates):

• Previous experience working as a Tour Guide for international NGOs or relevant corporate sector experience.
• Relevant qualification or proven work experience.
• Strong verbal English skills.
• Willingness to travel as well as a valid driver’s license.
• Passion for animal welfare and FOUR PAWS’ vision and mission.
