Position Overview:
The Turkish Telephone Interpreter manages on-demand calls and conveys conversations between Turkish- and English-speaking participants accurately. In this role, the interpreter helps remove communication barriers across many sectors, including Healthcare, Government, Insurance, Financial, Utilities, Travel & Hospitality, General Business, Law Enforcement, Court, and 911.
The role requires the ability to handle information rapidly and clearly while being aware of sensitive cultural differences. The interpreter is expected to remain courteous and professional throughout every interaction. Appropriate terminology must be used, along with an understanding of common procedures and practices across industries. Calls may cover either simple or more advanced technical and non-technical topics.
This role is focused on verbal interpreting and does not include written translation, although translators and other experienced linguists are welcome to apply. The position is fully remote, with work performed from a home office. Teleperformance supplies all necessary equipment. A quiet and secure workspace is required.
