Job Overview
In the role of Senior Controller, the main scope of work includes financial planning and analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and internal control processes. The position also covers reporting financial results to management and maintaining compliance with applicable regulations and reporting standards.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Compile and examine financial reports each month, quarter, and year by entity, department, and cost center in order to support cost efficiency and profit objectives.
- Carry out variance analysis and propose recommendations for improvement together with corrective measures.
- Maintain precise month-end closing and reconciliation activities.
- Assess cost center allocation methods and approval workflows.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and reporting activities for the Nearshore entities.
- Provide support to TP Benelux during monthly and annual closing procedures.
- Perform ongoing account reviews and identify, investigate, and solve discrepancies or related issues.
- Check and confirm system changes in D365, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Complete and deliver group reporting obligations.
Your Profile
- At least 5 years of background in a Financial Controller, Financial Analyst, Accountant, or Auditor position.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a similar discipline. A certified accountant credential is an added advantage.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in management or team leadership.
- Strong command of accounting principles, procedures, and applicable legislation.
- Good understanding of business operations, financial and performance KPIs, revenue models, and cost drivers.
- Prior exposure to external audits and financial analysis.
- A solution-focused mindset combined with a proactive and creative way of addressing problems.
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
