Job Overview

The Junior Reporting Specialist contributes to the daily reporting work of the Business Controlling team and assists with preparing data. The position is centered on delivering financial reports that are accurate, timely, and clearly organized, while building business knowledge and analytical capability over time.

This role provides a valuable opportunity for learning and a defined path for progression toward a Business Controller position.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting & Data Support

• Assist in creating recurring management and group reporting packages.
• Prepare and maintain reports, templates, and analyses developed in Excel.
• Gather, verify, and structure financial information coming from different sources.
• Contribute to monthly and other periodic reporting tasks.
• Help maintain the correctness, consistency, and completeness of reported figures.

Analysis & Ad-hoc Support

• Carry out basic checks of data, comparisons, and variance analysis.
• Provide support for ad-hoc reporting needs and data-related requests from the team.
• Help convert financial information into reports that are clear, organized, and useful.

Process Improvement

• Keep existing reporting files and templates updated while improving them when needed.
• Assist with making reporting processes more standardized and easier to manage.
• Recognize ways to improve efficiency and strengthen data quality.

Collaboration & Communication

• Cooperate closely with Business Controllers and other Finance team members.
• Serve as a dependable support contact for questions connected to reporting.
• Communicate with internal stakeholders in a clear and professional manner.

Skills & Personal Attributes

Technical & Analytical Skills

• Strong interest in working with numbers and analyzing data.
• Advanced Excel knowledge, including formulas, pivot tables, and structured worksheets.
• Ability to handle large datasets with accuracy.
• Interest in financial reporting and analysis of business performance.
