TEB SH.A. is looking for a qualified candidate for the position of POS Sales and Marketing Officer to be recruited in the very dynamic team of the Card & POS Business Division in Head Office.

About Business line/function:

Card & POS Business Division is one of the three business lines of TEB Sh.A specialized in offering innovative services to our customers such as Credit Card with the ability to pay with instalments, POS & ATM network and offering payment gateway (e-commerce) for our merchants.

POS Sales and Marketing Officer Main responsibilities:

  • Monitoring and managing day to day CARD and POS Business by visiting merchants on daily basis
  • Monitoring of the productivity and activation of CARD and POS Banking Products
  • Visiting Commercial Corporate Clients, whenever is needed as well negotiating Prices and conditions
  • Set strategies and channel options for campaigns
  • Proposing Marketing Campaigns following up accordingly and reporting report the next superior required in her/his job description
  • Working towards initiatives to improve processes and delivery efficiency
  • Follow the business lines productivity and results of campaigns
  • Implement strategic plans regarding acquiring new merchants and increase overall outstanding
  • Research for potential payment gateway (e-commerce) merchants
  • Compose and propose the sales targets
  • Monitoring Targets set to Business Lines and Branches
  • Monitoring the branches and Relationship Managers productivity
  • Mentor RM’s according to the Card Business and POS Division strategies

Contributing responsibilities:

  • Contribute towards innovation; suggest new practices for efficiency improvement
  • Contribute towards initiatives to improve processes and delivery
  • Contribute towards recruitment efforts - both for the team as well as for the organization

Qualifications required:

  • Education: University degree, in any relevant subject, preferred
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in banking/financial environment

Technical & Behavioural Competencies

  • Positive working attitude and analytical skills and essential for this position
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Good relationship management skills
  • Understanding of Trade Life Cycle

Soft and interpersonal skills:

  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills
  • Customer Centric with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team

Specific Qualifications (if required):

  • Driving Licence
  • MS Excel; word & PowerPoint
  • Microsoft Outlook
