TEB Sh. A is looking for an AML Supervisor to be recruited in the Compliance Division, in the Head Office.
Job definition: He/she:
- Is in charge of performing controls on the transaction and clients' profiles for all AML alerts that are generated with the Siron tool (act as Level 2)
- Should act in compliance with Law No 05/L-096 on the Prevention of Money Laundering and Combating Terrorist Financing and CBK Regulation on AML/CFT
- Is in charge of reporting to FIU or any third party that such a request has been received and/or a suspicious report/transaction has been submitted
- Has to have a high level of independence, professionalism, and integrity
- Monitors the SIRON AML tool and performs controls on the received alerts
- Re-parameterises the SIRON AML to reduce quantity and increase the quality of conspicuous customer hits
- Prepares analytical reports for the qualities of alerts in SIRON AML
- Re-defines the scenario definition in the SIRON AML (if the scenario is valid for our bank or not, is the scenario defined for adequate customer categories, are the thresholds adequately defined etc.)
- Reviews of the alerts generated by SIRON AML, based on the number of alerts per scenario and the subsequent number of reports filed to the authorities, to continuously adjust transaction monitoring to the risk exposure of the bank
- Analyses requests sent by branches and gives opinion/approval/rejection
- Evaluates requests for cash deposits and withdrawals sent by branches
- Prepares STR/SAR for customers detected through SIRON AML (AML Software) and any other source
- Conducts appropriate AML Monitoring, in line with identified risks on specified areas of the banking business
- Contributes to ensuring compliance with procedures, regulatory, and statutory obligations
- Responds and checks as a second control the requests for information from FIU, regulatory, and other statutory bodies, including transmittance of suspicious activities reports and cash transactions reports, and may impose conditions on the acceptance or continuation of a business relationship
- Ensures the 2nd- level of control as AML
- Cooperates with the IT Department and other departments inside and outside of the bank regarding the SIRON tool tracking, as well as other personnel in compliance
- Takes all necessary actions to detect all STR clients and reports to the FIU
- Ensures that all clients are evaluated in line with AML Law
- Implements and follows all related AML Compliance published policies and procedures
- Follows and implements CBK and FIU requirements recommendations
- Analyse the CTR (Cash Transaction Report) and report it to the FIU
- Monitors and handles all transactions that appear in SIRON tool
- Gathering information on clients to know the client profile and account transactions
- Enhances control for transactions according to AML Law and Financial Security procedures
- Checks the clients according to their level of risk and politically exposed persons
- Performs other duties assigned by the Manager of AML and Sanctions Control Department and/or Head of Compliance Division
Qualifications:
- University degree and professional qualification (Bachelor's degree from an Economy, Legal, or Business Administration of reputable universities)
- Strong analytical/ evaluating skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Albanian and English Language
- Proactive collaboration and correspondence
- Having skills to explain by himself as written and verbally
- Ability to work in a team
- Ability to report
- Certifications in AML (e.g. CAMS, ICA etc.), are an advantage
- Experience in the banking sector
- Ability to research and collect data
- Very Good Knowledge in Word and Excel
- Very Good Knowledge in preparing and understanding of XML/AIF/CTR files
