Job Title: Functional Consultant

Training position initially

Job Description:

  • As a trainee Functional Consultant working within the support team of Suisse TechPartners, you will be part of the team delivering exceptional service to our clients. This is a fast-paced environment and you will have the opportunity to work with and develop working relationships with senior staff from across the globe.
  • You will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service by ensuring our clients receive the assistance they need, in a timely manner. After a thorough training program, you will be required to gain a thorough understanding of our client’s business practices and act responsibly to ensure that the needs of our clients are met. As the primary point of contact for one or more of our clients, you will be working continuously to develop and nurture healthy working relationships, as you provide them with diligent customer service and responsibly carry out daily client related activities and processes.

Educational Requirements:

  • Undergraduate, and/or Masters of Science in business, accounting, or economics.
  • Permission/visa to work in Kosovo

Mandatory Profile Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially in English
  • Logical and analytical mindset – a logic test is required to be sat prior to interview
  • Strong time management and organization skill, prioritizing tasks quickly and efficiently
  • Ability to analyze, troubleshoot and propose effective solutions for clients
  • Ability to review and analyze client workflows and functional requirements
  • Someone who can participate in the accurate testing of new developments
  • Self-motivated with a pro-active and positive attitude
  • Ability to work constructively in a solution orientated team environment to respond quickly to customer needs, working with urgency to propose creative solutions that deliver demonstrable value
  • Ability to analyze and present complex information in a clear, structured and concise manner
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken (additional languages will be considered a plus)

Desired Profile Skills:

  • Knowledge of the Financial Services industry
  • Knowledge of the software production lifecycle
  • Some knowledge of financial software would be helpful
  • A customer advocate, escalating issues quickly
  • Team player able to take the role of leader or team-member

Likely Work Experience Examples:

  • Analytical role in a Fintech or other start-up
  • Technical support role for remote-based clients
  • Back-office operational role in a bank, broker or asset management firm
