Role Overview

In the position of Junior .NET Software Developer, you will support the development and upkeep of applications built on the Microsoft .NET platform. You will work closely with more experienced engineers who will guide your professional development. The role includes producing well-structured code, resolving issues, creating tests, and steadily taking on broader responsibilities as your skills advance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with developing and improving software solutions based on the .NET framework, with guidance from senior colleagues.
  • Take part in technical conversations and design sessions to better understand system architecture and component interaction.
  • Support work on APIs and integrations under the supervision of senior developers.
  • Deliver code for review and apply feedback in order to strengthen development practices.
  • Contribute to identifying, troubleshooting, and correcting software issues.
  • Create and maintain automated testing, including unit tests and integration tests.

Requirements

  • 0–2 years of experience, or relevant academic, internship, or personal-project background involving .NET (C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET).
  • Basic knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts.
  • Initial familiarity with web applications and/or APIs.
  • Some exposure to relational databases such as SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
  • Familiarity with Git and an interest in agile ways of working.
  • A strong motivation to learn and work collaboratively.

Bonus Points

  • Personal projects or open-source contributions, interest in AI/ML and LLMs, awareness of Docker/microservices, and any front-end experience.
