IT Support Specialist
StarLabs is seeking a proactive and enthusiastic IT Support Specialist to become part of the team in Prishtina, with a focus on supporting, maintaining, and improving the company’s IT systems and infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Deliver technical assistance for issues related to hardware, software, and networks.
- Set up, configure, and maintain laptops, desktop computers, printers, and other IT devices.
- Identify and resolve system malfunctions and connectivity difficulties.
- Provide day-to-day IT support to internal staff.
- Manage user accounts, access rights, permissions, and security-related access.
- Contribute to employee onboarding and offboarding procedures.
- Track system performance and help keep operations running efficiently.
- Work together with the development and DevOps teams whenever support is needed.
- Prepare and maintain documentation for technical processes and resolved issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in IT Support or System Administration.
- Solid understanding of Windows, macOS, and core networking concepts.
- Experience using Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, or comparable platforms.
- Familiarity with diagnosing and resolving hardware and software problems.
- Strong communication abilities and effective problem-solving skills.
- Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- English proficiency is required.
Nice to Have
- Experience working with Linux systems.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity.
- Certifications such as CompTIA, CCNA, or Microsoft certifications.

This is a full-time role from Monday to Friday, arranged across two shifts.
Candidates are expected to be available to work in either shift, depending on team scheduling needs.
