IT Support Specialist

StarLabs is seeking a proactive and enthusiastic IT Support Specialist to become part of the team in Prishtina, with a focus on supporting, maintaining, and improving the company’s IT systems and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver technical assistance for issues related to hardware, software, and networks.
  • Set up, configure, and maintain laptops, desktop computers, printers, and other IT devices.
  • Identify and resolve system malfunctions and connectivity difficulties.
  • Provide day-to-day IT support to internal staff.
  • Manage user accounts, access rights, permissions, and security-related access.
  • Contribute to employee onboarding and offboarding procedures.
  • Track system performance and help keep operations running efficiently.
  • Work together with the development and DevOps teams whenever support is needed.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation for technical processes and resolved issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in IT Support or System Administration.
  • Solid understanding of Windows, macOS, and core networking concepts.
  • Experience using Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, or comparable platforms.
  • Familiarity with diagnosing and resolving hardware and software problems.
  • Strong communication abilities and effective problem-solving skills.
  • Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • English proficiency is required.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with Linux systems.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
  • Basic understanding of cybersecurity.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA, CCNA, or Microsoft certifications.

This is a full-time role from Monday to Friday, arranged across two shifts.

Candidates are expected to be available to work in either shift, depending on team scheduling needs.
