Position Summary
The People & Talent Manager has an important role in supporting Spaxel’s growth by leading recruitment activities, enhancing the employee experience, and establishing people-centered processes that contribute to organizational development. This role is primarily centered on recruitment, with emphasis on finding and attracting high-caliber talent while collaborating with leadership to strengthen hiring outcomes, onboarding, performance management, and employee development.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Recruitment (Primary Focus)
- Lead the entire recruitment process, beginning with sourcing and screening and continuing through offer acceptance and onboarding.
- Create and sustain strong candidate pipelines across various departments and seniority levels.
- Design sourcing approaches using LinkedIn, job boards, employee referrals, universities, networking events, and direct outreach.
- Work closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective hiring plans.
- Monitor recruitment indicators such as time-to-hire, source effectiveness, offer acceptance rates, and retention of new hires.
- Contribute to employer branding efforts that improve Spaxel’s ability to attract leading talent.
People Operations
- Oversee onboarding and offboarding activities to provide a consistent experience for employees.
- Keep employee records, contracts, and other people-related documentation up to date.
- Assist with performance review procedures and employee development initiatives.
- Track employee engagement and help identify ways to improve retention and workplace satisfaction.
Organizational Development
- Help recognize talent gaps and workforce requirements across the organization.
- Support leadership in developing high-performing teams and succession planning.
- Contribute to the creation of training and professional development programs.
Qualifications & Skills
- At least 3 years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, people operations, HR, or a related area.
- Demonstrated ability to manage several hiring processes at the same time.
- Strong skills in interviewing and evaluating candidates.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English.
