About Us
International e-commerce company. Clients and projects across Europe and the USA. Focus on online stores, digital solutions, and agile workflows.
Job Description
As a QA Automation/Tester Intern with us, you'll help ensure that the online stores and digital products we deliver actually work - across browsers, devices, and real customer journeys. You won't be left on the sidelines: you'll take on real testing tasks from day one, with a mentor to guide you. Beyond manual testing, you'll start building the automation foundation that keeps our releases reliable as our customer base grows.
Your day-to-day work will include:
- Writing and executing test cases for new features in clients' e-commerce stores
- Performing manual testing across browsers and devices (desktop, mobile, tablet)
- Writing and maintaining automated tests (UI and API)
- Reporting, tracking, and verifying bugs using Jira (or similar tools)
- Participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Helping maintain testing documentation, regression checklists, and automation suites
- Gradually expanding into exploratory testing, CI integration, and performance testing as you grow
Requirements
- Genuine interest in IT, e-commerce, or quality assurance
- Basic programming knowledge in at least one language (PHP, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python) — you should be comfortable reading code and writing simple scripts
- Familiarity with how websites work: HTML, CSS, and a basic understanding of HTTP requests/responses
- Exposure to (or willingness to quickly learn) a test automation framework such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar
- Basic knowledge of Git (clone, branch, commit, pull request)
- Sharp attention to detail and a curious "what happens if I click this?" mindset
- Structured thinking and clear written communication
- English is a must
- Comfortable working in a team and asking questions
- Motivated, proactive, and willing to take ownership of your tasks
Nice to Have (not required)
- Experience with API testing tools (Postman, Insomnia)
- Familiarity with browser DevTools for debugging
- Any project, university course, or personal experiment involving automated tests
- Basic knowledge of SQL or working with databases
Benefits
- A clear path to a full-time QA Automation position after 6 months based on performance
- Official Shopware certification
- Hands-on experience across the entire digital product lifecycle, including modern automation tools
- Real ownership: your ideas and initiatives are valued from day one
