Job Title: Senior Video & Audio Editor

Intro

  • You’re looking for more than just another editing job and want to create work that has real impact. With SAWOO you get the opportunity to reach thousands of top-level executives with your videos and designs, giving them insights that help them make better decisions that influence their teams, their companies, and ultimately society.
  • We are not looking for someone we need to train but for someone who can elevate our output from day one.
  • SAWOO is a German company that opened its first office at the Innovation Centre Kosovo (ICK) in Pristina on July 21st 2025. The team is expanding with strong development opportunities.

Compensation & Start Date

  • Start date: No later than May/June 2026.
  • Salary: €1.500-2.200€ per month (40h/week).
  • Working hours: 08:00–17:00 with a one-hour lunch break.
  • Remote Wednesdays available.
  • 23 vacation days + public holidays in Pristina.
  • Sick days are fully paid.

About SAWOO

  • SAWOO is an international, dynamic, 20-person company based in Munich. We build and operate communities that bring together senior leaders from large companies to support them through collaborative learning, meaningful networking, and professional and personal growth.
  • We organize monthly physical meetups (~20 per month), conferences (currently 3 per year), podcasts, and additional networking opportunities. Members include leaders from companies such as Mercedes, Porsche, Airbus, Amazon, and Siemens.

Purpose of the Role and Why This Job Matters

  • Deliver meaningful insights to senior leaders by turning podcasts and event content into visuals and videos that provide clarity, inspiration, and real value.
  • Attract new executives into our communities by producing content that helps leaders discover our communities and understand the value we create.
  • The reach, quality, and consistency of your work directly influence our visibility, credibility, and growth.

What success looks like in this role (measured)

  • Your assets generate relevant interactions from our target personas on LinkedIn (and, where applicable, WhatsApp).
  • Deliverables are reliably on time and require minimal revisions.
  • You ship format and process improvements each quarter that increase quality, speed, or impact.
  • You raise the overall quality standard of our video and content output over time.
  • This is a senior-level role: you identify problems early, propose solutions, and run the creative function end to end without micromanagement.

What You Will Work With

  • Podcast recordings with top executives.
  • Event photos and raw video material from monthly meetups and summits.
  • Testimonial videos from participants.
  • Primary deliverables: short-form video snippets for LinkedIn, edited podcast episodes with high audio quality.
  • Additional deliverables: image posts (carousels, quotes, highlights), website graphics and banners, event materials (signage, promo graphics, recap visuals), and new content formats you help develop.

Your Tasks

Video Editing (primary focus)

  • Edit podcast and event recordings into polished, engaging content.
  • Produce short-form video snippets that achieve measurable engagement on LinkedIn, focusing on relevant interactions from target personas.
  • Add subtitles, transitions, overlays, and light animation.
  • Improve storytelling, pacing, and content quality over time.

Audio Editing and Podcast Production (primary focus)

  • Edit and master podcast episodes to a clean, professional, broadcast-ready quality.
  • Handle audio cleanup (noise reduction, leveling) and ensure consistent sound quality across episodes.
  • Manage intro and outro placement and basic sound design.
  • Support hosts and guests with audio checks and improvements to recording setups.
  • Continuously improve audio quality and podcast production standards.

Graphic Design (secondary / supporting skill)

  • Create visual assets for podcasts, social media, websites, and events.
  • Design simple and effective event visuals (promo materials, banners, recap slides) that appear premium and compelling.
  • Maintain brand consistency across all SAWOO and client deliverables.

Creative Workflow and Ownership

  • Responsible for outcomes and quality, not just task-based execution.
  • Own the creative domain end to end: plan, prioritize, deliver, and solve problems proactively.
  • Take responsibility for high-quality, on-time content delivery and manage several briefs in parallel.
  • Coordinate freelancers when necessary and ensure final outputs meet standards.
  • Suggest and implement improvements to formats, workflows, and creative quality.
  • Be the point of contact for creative operations and define what good looks like.

Development Opportunities

  • Potential growth into creating new formats, owning creative guidelines, mentoring creative hires or freelancers, or a Creative Lead role over time.

  • A strong portfolio that clearly demonstrates video and audio work.
  • Basic to solid graphic design skills (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Figma, Canva, etc.) are a plus but not required.

Language

  • English: C1 written and spoken (ability to work confidently in English daily).
  • German A2 to B1+ is helpful but not required.

Leadership

  • Take ownership of outcomes and communicate proactively.

Traits

  • Lack of a strong, relevant portfolio.

Benefits
