Description:

You will be primarily responsible for the correct functioning of the monitoring centre as well as all the supporting infrastructures. You will assure that the processes of monitoring are up and running, all events are correctly handled in due time and escalated as required.

Responsibilities:

Design processes to centrally handle internal security issues (where MC is main point of contact) and escalating/dispatching accordingly internally and/or to external related third parties (law enforcement, private security, fire protection etc.)
Ensure that entire electronic protection systems are fully integrated into the MC.
Design and categorize security alerts based on thresholds and criticality, according to internal security practices.
Design/enhance internal procedures and processes for Monitoring Centre
Design reports to describe an accurate state of different security aspects, based on the monitored activities and security practices (local and group).
Perform regular reports to the Security Management in terms of actions that have been performed for the three months period, perform evaluation, for all Sites covering physical Security.
Provide written documentation, factual and accurate written reports as required. Co-ordinate processing of documentation per corporate and departmental auditing guidelines.

Qualifications:

Univestity degree – computer engineering or related.
At least 5 years of experience in different IT areas, experience in information security is an advantage.
Very good knowledge of current trends and developments in the area of IT and security.
Very good analytical skills.
Ability to deal with emergency issues using proper judgement.
Excellent communicating skills.
Very good team player.
Experience in Banking environment is an advantage.
Excellent command of english (written and spoken).
Pro-active attitude and team oriented.
Problem-solving attitude.
Assume responsibility and take necessary actions for problem resolution. Must be able to work independently with little or no guidance and recognize when management involvement is required.
