Position Summary

QSI International School of Kosovo is looking to add a committed and energetic Kindergarten Teacher (5-Year-Old Program) to its international teaching team.

The selected candidate will build a secure, stimulating, and caring classroom atmosphere while encouraging the academic, social, emotional, and physical growth of young learners. The school is seeking an educator with strong Western educational credentials, a strong interest in early childhood education, and dedication to high standards within an international school environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and teach age-appropriate lessons that follow the QSI curriculum.
• Establish a classroom environment that is welcoming, secure, and inclusive.
• Encourage students' academic, social, emotional, and physical growth.
• Track student development and maintain effective communication with parents.
• Work closely with colleagues, administrators, and support staff to support student achievement.
• Use creative and engaging instructional methods in everyday teaching.
• Take part in professional development activities and contribute to the wider school community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in early childhood education, Elementary Education, or a closely related field.
• Western teaching experience or western credential/license.
• Western teaching experience and/or prior experience in an accredited international school is strongly preferred.
• Proven experience teaching Kindergarten or Early Childhood students.
• Excellent spoken and written English skills.
• Strong abilities in classroom management, communication, collaboration, and organization.
• A sincere interest in working with young children in a multicultural setting.
