About the role:
As a Junior Virtual Accountant, you will be responsible for monitoring and managing client files, applying your accounting, tax, and VAT knowledge on a daily basis. We are looking for ambitious and motivated accountants, preferably recent graduates or students in their final years, who are eager to learn and grow in an international accounting and tax environment.

Your daily tasks:

• Monitor & manage client files with a critical & analytical mindset
• Review sales invoices & daily revenue
• Verify & post (AI pre-populated) journal entries
• Check & reconcile financial transactions
• Assist with month-end & year-end closings
• Report on daily operations to management and/or supervisor

What we're looking for:

• Recent graduate
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Tax & Finance or any other related field
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Knowledge of Dutch (Nederlands) is a plus, but not required
• Strong attention to detail
• Critical & analytical mindset
• Solid understanding of accounting principles (GAAP) & financial reporting
• Understanding the concepts of VAT & income taxes
• Tech-savvy, with the ability to work efficiently in a fully digital environment
• Strong sense of confidentiality, cybersecurity & protection of sensitive data
• Ambitious & open to feedback
• Eager to learn new things & actively seek continuous improvement
• Interest in obtaining SCAAK certifications is a plus
