Job Description:
Are you a detail-oriented accounting professional with strong expertise in QuickBooks and a passion for maintaining clean, accurate financial data? We are partnering with fast-growing B2B SaaS and tech companies, and we’re looking for a QuickBooks Specialist to join a fully remote team. In this role, you will manage and optimize financial records within QuickBooks, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. You’ll support financial operations, streamline processes, and provide insights that help drive better business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • QuickBooks Management & Optimization
    • Manage and maintain company financial data within QuickBooks (Online/Desktop)
    • Set up, customize, and optimize QuickBooks accounts and workflows
    • Ensure accurate categorization of transactions and proper chart of accounts structure
    • Perform regular data cleanups and account reconciliations
  • Financial Operations
    • Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes within QuickBooks
    • Process invoices, payments, and expenses accurately and on time
    • Reconcile bank and credit card statements
    • Assist in payroll processing and expense tracking when needed
  • Reporting & Compliance
    • Generate and maintain financial reports such as P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
    • Ensure data accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and company policies
    • Support month-end and year-end closing processes
    • Identify discrepancies and resolve issues efficiently
  • Collaboration & Process Improvement
    • Work closely with finance teams and stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting
    • Provide recommendations to improve accounting workflows and system efficiency
    • Support audits and internal financial reviews

What You Bring:

  • 5+ years of experience working with QuickBooks (Online and/or Desktop)
  • Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles
  • Hands-on experience managing full-cycle bookkeeping within QuickBooks
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
  • Experience with financial reporting and reconciliations
  • Experience working with B2B SaaS or tech companies is a plus
  • QuickBooks certification is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
