Job Description:
We’re partnering with a U.S.-based company to hire an experienced Financial Controller to join their fully remote team. This is a key leadership role where you’ll own financial operations, ensure compliance, and provide strategic insights that support business growth. You’ll help build and maintain strong financial processes in an environment that values ownership, accuracy, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee all accounting functions, including financial reporting, budgeting, tax compliance, and audits
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, federal and state tax regulations, and relevant industry standards
• Develop and implement financial strategies to optimize cash flow, profitability, and risk management
• Strengthen internal controls, accounting systems, and financial processes
• Partner with leadership to support financial planning and strategic decision-making
• Collaborate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies

What You Bring / Required & Preferred Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred)
• 6+ years of experience in accounting or financial management
• Strong expertise in U.S. GAAP and financial reporting standards
• Proven experience with financial forecasting, budgeting, and analysis
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems
• Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to work cross-functionally in a remote, fast-paced environment
