Position: Information Security Officer (5 Positions)

Novus is an IT company, working with clients on information security, risk management, infrastructure, and compliance-related projects. As part of the expansion of our cybersecurity team, we are looking for motivated professionals who are eager to grow and develop in the information security field.

Successful candidates will be expected to work full-time and on-site on projects currently under development.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Perform risk assessments for information assets, identifying threats, vulnerabilities, and potential impacts;
• Ensure asset-related risks are properly documented, tracked, mitigated, and reported;
• Conduct cybersecurity risk assessments for third parties, suppliers, vendors, and outsourcing partners;
• Classify third parties based on criticality, data access, and service impact;
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of information security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Evaluate security tools and technologies to identify the most suitable solutions for Novus clients;
• Prepare technical proposals within their area of expertise and support the evaluation of client requirements;
• Work closely with the Novus team to identify and propose new technology solutions and project opportunities.
• Participate in meetings, presentations, workshops, and other professional events where additional expertise can contribute to Novus’ reputation and service excellence;
• Assists other Novus staff members on project deliverables in fields where he/she is an expert.
• Stay up to date with the latest cybersecurity trends, technologies, threats, and best practices;
• Continuously enhance professional knowledge through training and relevant certifications that contribute to Novus partnership development;
• Prepare professional project documentation while ensuring confidentiality and secure handling of information.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Minimum of two (2) years of professional experience in Information Security or a related field is preferred.
• Professional certifications are highly desirable, such as CompTIA Security+, ISC² Certified in Cybersecurity (CC), ISO/IEC 27001 Foundation, or equivalent credentials.
