JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities:

Norwegian People’s Aid (NPA) is recruiting a qualified and motivated Surveyor to help deliver a reconciliation and social cohesion project in Zubin Potok municipality. The initiative is aimed at reinforcing trust between communities, enhancing communication with local institutions, and promoting inclusive dialogue together with community cooperation activities.

The Surveyors will contribute to the broader coordination and execution of the work led by the Project Officer. This role involves close collaboration with municipal representatives, community leaders, civil society organizations, and local communities.

General responsibilities:

The Surveyors will support the Project Officer in the following areas:

• Assisting with data gathered through a desktop study to prepare for community-level IA
• Carrying out village interviews in line with the project plan
• Cooperating closely with the Project Officer to ensure municipal data is accurate and regularly updated
• Helping sustain ongoing communication and coordination with municipalities, communities, CSOs, and other relevant stakeholders
• Supporting monitoring, reporting, documentation, and the tracking of activities
• Assisting with supervision of surveys, verification of data, and coordination in the field
• Supporting the drafting of meeting reports, minutes, briefing materials, and donor-related documentation
• Taking part in regular coordination and planning meetings with the project team

Additional duties may be assigned by the line manager.

Qualifications and Experience:

• High School diploma
• Previous work in multi-ethnic or sensitive settings is viewed as an advantage
• Strong skills in organization, communication, and facilitation
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
• Good computer knowledge, including MS Office applications
• Fluency in Serbian language is mandatory
• Good command of English is required
