JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities:

Norwegian People’s Aid (NPA) is looking for a capable and motivated Project Officer to help deliver a reconciliation and social cohesion project in Zubin Potok municipality. The initiative is aimed at reinforcing trust between communities, improving communication with local institutions, and encouraging inclusive dialogue together with community cooperation efforts.

The Project Officer will contribute to the coordination and execution of project activities, including engagement with stakeholders, dialogue meetings, community actions, surveys, monitoring tasks, and reporting. This role involves close collaboration with municipal officials, community representatives, civil society organizations, and local residents.

General responsibilities:

• Oversee and assist the delivery of project activities and field-based operations.
• Arrange and facilitate dialogue sessions, community gatherings, workshops, and joint actions.
• Support the execution of household surveys, community consultations, and data-gathering processes.
• Keep ongoing communication and coordination with municipalities, communities, CSOs, and other relevant actors.
• Contribute to monitoring, reporting, documentation, and tracking of activities.
• Help supervise surveys, verify data, and coordinate field work.
• Make sure all activities are carried out in an inclusive and conflict-sensitive way.
• Assist in preparing meeting reports, briefing materials, and documentation related to donors.
• Take part in regular planning and coordination meetings with the project team.

Carry out any other tasks assigned by the line manager.

Qualifications and Experience:

• University degree in Social Sciences, Political Science, International Relations, Peacebuilding, Public Administration, or related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in project implementation, community engagement, peacebuilding, or civil society programming.
• Prior experience with surveys, field data collection, or community assessments is mandatory.
