Short description:

  • The Networking & Funnel Coordinator will manage outreach and follow-up to bring prospects into the networking funnel, ensure clear and timely communication, and guide contacts through to meetings. This role supports relationship-building, improves attendance and engagement, and helps create a strong first impression for new members.

Key responsibilities:

  • Reach out to prospective attendees, members, or leads and help bring them into the funnel
  • Send invitations and ensure communication is clear, timely, and professional
  • Follow up consistently with contacts so they stay engaged and do not fall through the cracks
  • Confirm attendance and help ensure people show up to meetings and networking opportunities
  • Manage communication before and after meetings or events
  • Help prospects understand the value of the experience and keep them interested throughout the process
  • Track outreach, follow-ups, attendance, and next steps in a CRM or organized system
  • Maintain accurate records and stay on top of details
  • Assist in the organization, coordination, and leadership of networking events
  • Represent M3 Linked SoCal in a professional and welcoming way
  • Help create an excellent experience for everyone entering the network

Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport quickly
  • A confident, professional presence when speaking with individuals and groups
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple follow-ups at once
  • A proactive attitude and strong sense of ownership
  • Attention to detail and the ability to stay consistent
  • Good judgment, reliability, and follow-through
  • The ability to work well independently while also supporting a team

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with public speaking, hosting, or speaking in front of groups
  • Experience using a CRM or lead management platform
  • Experience in networking, community building, event coordination, lead generation, sales support, or client relations
  • Experience helping organize and manage professional events or business networking spaces
