Tasks

• Import dumps of customer databases to internal database servers.
• Perform data anonymization on imported customer databases in compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
• Remove outdated database imports and maintain a structured data lifecycle on internal servers.
• Update and maintain the database-related documentation.
• Support customer system migrations, ensuring data consistency and minimal downtime.
• Install and configure Oracle databases for new customers who do not have in-house database administrators.
• Set up and manage RMAN backups on customer systems.
• Regularly verify that backups are completed successfully and that associated logs are correct.
• Mirror customer databases between production and test environments.
• Deploy Oracle database patches on customer systems as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Oracle Database Administrator, with the ability to manage production environments and perform standard Oracle administration tasks independently
• Proficiency in Oracle Database installation, configuration, and administration.
• Hands-on experience with RMAN backup and recovery management.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Data Pump (expdp/impdp) for data import and export.
• Experience with database mirroring, cloning, and anonymization.
• Awareness of data privacy requirements when handling and anonymizing customer data.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Business English.
