Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer C# to join a fast-paced, innovative team building software that enables litigation professionals to filter and analyze large volumes of data using advanced technologies and AI. In this role, you will tackle complex challenges including data visualization, machine learning, distributed systems, and large-scale data processing. Working with a backend stack of C#, REST, SQL, PostgreSQL, and Elasticsearch, you will design scalable, high-performance solutions. You’ll play a key role in shaping the product while collaborating with a dynamic team focused on delivering high-quality, user-centric software.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Write, review, and maintain C# codebases, design & implement RESTful APIs
• Participate in the development of new features and expand existing features.
• Add support for new platforms to our existing products and develop new products.
• Develop and review designs, code, unit tests, system tests, and documentation.
• Collaborate in root cause analysis; diagnose, isolate, and fix software problems.
• Identify and correct issues that impact performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Drive adoption of modern tooling and frameworks to improve developer productivity.
• Clearly communicate technical concepts and project status to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Promote a collaborative, inclusive, and innovative team culture.
• Demonstrate your work product to your team.
• Identify and correct issues that impact performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Investigate and develop skills in new technologies.
• Participate in on-call rotation shifts supporting our customer support team when customers experience production defects

Requirements and Skills:

• Deep expertise in C#, RESTful APIs, SQL and modern backend development practices.
• Thorough knowledge of the software development lifecycle, agile methodologies, CI/CD, and code quality practices.
• A passion for building intuitive, user-centric applications and driving technical excellence.
• Knowledge of Elasticsearch, Postgres, AWS, Kubernetes, React and On-Prem Deployments is highly desirable.
• Driven to build modern systems that emphasize user experience and aesthetics.
• A team player.
• Excellent writing and written/verbal communication skills.
• An eagerness to learn, explore and introduce new technologies.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years’ work experience in back-end software engineering with considerable experience programming in C#.
• Experience creating and consuming RESTful interfaces.
