Job Summary:

The Junior System Engineer will support the design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise IT infrastructures under the guidance of senior engineers. This role is focused on hands-on technical work, participation in infrastructure projects, and developing engineering skills in areas such as virtualization, systems, networking, and security. It is an excellent opportunity for candidates who want to build a career toward System Engineer and Senior Engineer roles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design and implementation of IT infrastructure solutions
• Install, configure, and maintain servers and virtualization platforms
• Support system migrations, upgrades, and infrastructure deployments
• Monitor system performance, availability, and health
• Troubleshoot technical issues (hardware/software) and escalate when needed
• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support
• Assist in backup configuration and recovery testing
• Support Active Directory administration (users, groups, GPOs)
• Work alongside senior engineers on client projects and incidents
• Maintain accurate documentation of systems and procedures
• Follow security and best practice guidelines in all implementations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent (or in progress)
• 0–2 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or internships

Basic knowledge of:

• Windows Server
• Active Directory
• Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
• Virtualization concepts
• Strong interest in infrastructure technologies and system engineering
• Good troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Ability to learn quickly and work in a team environment
• Basic English communication skills
