Junior Network Engineer

Job Summary:

• We are seeking a motivated and capable Junior Network Engineer to support design, implementation, support, monitoring, and management of network infrastructures for existing and new clients. This role provides hands-on experience across enterprise networking environments and involves operational and project-based activities within Kosovo and abroad.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and support existing LAN, WAN, and VPN infrastructures
• Assist in the management of Cisco, Aruba, Juniper, Fortinet or other vendors' network devices, including switches, routers, access points and firewalls
• Provide day-to-day operational support, including network changes, maintenance, enhancements, and incident response
• Assist in designing, configuring, and maintaining network environments for current and future client deployments
• Configure firewalls, routing, and switching to ensure optimal performance and security
• Monitor network performance, identify issues, and troubleshoot outages and service disruptions
• Maintain clear and accurate technical documentation related to network configurations and security
• Support senior engineers in network operations, maintenance, and implementation projects
• Participate in upgrade activities and firmware updates for network equipment
• Contribute to project planning and technical preparation activities
• Contribute to field engineering work when necessary

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar networking role
• Cisco CCNA training required; CCNA certification is an advantage
• Good understanding of TCP/IP, dynamic routing, Ethernet switching, and load balancing
• Good knowledge of firewalls, ACLs, NAT, and wireless networking concepts
• Good troubleshooting skills in routing, switching, and security
• Understanding of network topologies, methodologies, and protocols
• Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills
• Fluent in English
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
• Willingness to travel abroad for integration assignments and trainings in EU countries
