Mechanical Engineer/Design Engineer (m/f/d)

You will contribute to the development of advanced mechanical solutions and systems for industrial automation, embedded systems, drive technology, and intelligent products.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop and design mechanical parts, assemblies, and full system solutions.
• Prepare 3D CAD models, technical drawings, and production-related documentation.
• Create innovative concepts and carry them through from the initial idea to series production.
• Conduct calculations, simulations, and design verification activities.
• Identify appropriate materials and suitable manufacturing methods.
• Assist with prototype creation, testing processes, and product improvement.
• Work closely with electronics, software, and production departments.
• Handle technical requirements and define product specifications.
• Contribute to certification, compliance, and quality assurance work.
• Take part in the full lifecycle of product development.

Your Profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Product Development, or a related field.
• Background in mechanical design and product development.
• Good command of 3D CAD tools such as SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo, Siemens NX, or comparable software.
• Understanding of manufacturing methods including machining, sheet metal, injection molding, die casting, or additive manufacturing.
• Familiarity with engineering calculations and technical documentation.
• Experience with industrial products, automation technology, drive systems, or machinery is considered an advantage.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to work independently in a structured manner.
• Good communication skills in English; German is an added advantage.
