Job Description:

We are seeking an Accountant to support project financial management, with responsibility over invoicing, billing schedules, requisitions, and project reporting. The role requires collaboration with project managers, clients, and finance teams to ensure accurate billing and timely collections. You will be directly involved in handling Schedule of Values (SOVs), preparing AIA requisitions, and managing rental calculations for scaffolding, hoist, and related construction services.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and manage invoices, requisitions (AIA forms), and billing documentation for construction projects.
Work closely with Project Managers to prepare and update Schedule of Values (SOVs).
Manage Accounts Receivable records, monitor outstanding balances, and follow up on collections.
Perform rental calculations for ongoing project services (scaffolding, hoists, sidewalk sheds, etc.).
Maintain accurate financial records related to contracts, change orders, and requisitions.
Perform monthly reconciliations of project accounts, customer balances, and supporting schedules.
Coordinate with vendors, clients, and procurement departments on billing issues.
Support tax return preparation and collaborate with third-party CPA firms when required.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and project-specific requirements.
Attend collection and invoicing meetings with the project executives.
Prepare weekly analytics regarding AR/AP.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
1–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in construction or project accounting.
Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills (advanced formulas, reporting, reconciliations).
Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting systems.
Knowledge of AIA requisitions, SOVs, and project-based accounting strongly preferred.
High attention to detail, organizational ability, and problem-solving skills.
Strong interpersonal skills for effective coordination with project teams and clients.
