Marketing Manager (Online & Performance Marketing)

We are a company based in Prishtina and operate as a subsidiary of Firma.ch AG in Zug, Switzerland. The business is still in its early phase: the brand is already established, the strategic direction has been defined, and the product is currently under development.

The role

At Firma.ch, this position carries responsibility for the entire marketing function. The scope covers everything from brand positioning to managing the cost of acquiring each business listing.

This is a practical, execution-focused role rather than a people-management post. The person in this role will create copy, launch campaigns, analyse performance data, and determine what should change from one week to the next. As the organisation expands, the marketing team will also develop under this role.

A distinctive aspect of this opportunity is that the company runs a two-sided marketplace in two very different markets. People looking for services behave very differently from business owners deciding whether to pay for a listing, and a campaign that performs well in Prishtina will not necessarily deliver the same results in Zürich. Managing both audiences across three languages is central to the position.

What you will do

Growth and acquisition

• Lead customer acquisition for both sides of the marketplace: businesses creating listings and consumers searching for those businesses
• Design, launch, and refine paid campaigns across Meta, Google, and TikTok, using distinct approaches for Kosovo and Albania and separately for the diaspora in Switzerland, Germany, and Austria
• Oversee the marketing budget and report acquisition, activation, and retention costs transparently, including cases where a channel is underperforming
• Carry out structured testing instead of isolated one-time campaigns, and keep a record of the insights gained

SEO and content

• Develop the platform’s organic search presence through scalable local and category landing pages in Albanian, German, and English
• Take charge of technical and on-page SEO together with the engineering team, recognising that for a directory platform, organic search is the primary channel rather than just one among many
• Create content that builds credibility with business owners, including guides, city and trade pages, and customer stories

Brand, community, and lifecycle

• Expand the company’s social media presence and strengthen ties with Albanian community organisations, chambers of commerce, and diaspora creators
• Manage email and lifecycle communication, including onboarding flows for new businesses, reactivation efforts, and upgrade campaigns
