About You

• 5+ years of accounting experience, ideally within an accounting or professional services firm, including year-end closing procedures
• Accounting Technician or higher
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards
• Experience with eCommerce or crypto accounting is a strong plus
• Confident in using accounting software and digital tools
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with high attention to detail
• Client-focused mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Interest in technology and process improvement
• Fluent in English; German is a strong advantage

Join fbtq, a fully digital accounting firm specializing in eCommerce and crypto clients. As a Senior Accountant, you will manage client portfolios, oversee financial reporting, and help optimize accounting workflows in a modern, tech-driven environment.

• Take full ownership of financial statements across the full accounting cycle, including preparation and review
• Lead and execute year-end closing processes
• Manage bookkeeping and financial reporting for a portfolio of clients (including eCommerce and crypto businesses)
• Record and assess crypto transactions and digital assets in line with applicable standards
• Support and advise clients on accounting and tax-related matters, with a focus on digital business models
• Prepare and review tax filings for individuals and companies
• Mentor and support junior accountants, ensuring quality and consistency of work
• Identify process inefficiencies and drive improvements through automation and better workflows
