Accountant – Pristina
On behalf of our Client, an established accounting company in Kosovo that delivers outsourced accounting services to businesses throughout Europe, we are looking for a motivated professional focused on career growth to become part of the Accounting Department as an Accountant.
Job description:
- Travel across Europe on a regular basis whenever the role requires it.
- Handle and supervise daily accounting activities.
- Complete data entry tasks.
- Carry out bank reconciliations.
- Compile financial statements.
- Review and interpret financial information.
- Oversee payables and receivables.
- Perform financial audit work.
- Make sure accounting rules and regulations are followed.
- Work closely with other members of the finance team.
- Offer direction and assistance to the finance team when needed.
- Produce reports requested by management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or another related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in a comparable accounting position.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification from SCAAK, IKAF, or AAB.
- ACCA qualification, either completed or currently in progress, is required.
- Excellent English skills, both written and spoken.
- Knowledge of other languages will be considered an advantage.
- Readiness and ability to travel frequently throughout Europe.
- Hands-on experience with Pantheon ERP is required.
- Previous experience in consolidation is required.
- Strong understanding of IFRS and accounting principles.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks and/or NetSuite will be considered an advantage.
- Excellent analytical ability with careful attention to precision and detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Very good command of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
