Maintenance Coordinator

Location: Remote (maintenance requests for residential apartments in New York)
We are looking for a Maintenance Coordinator to join our Property Management team. You will handle maintenance requests for residential apartments in New York, communicate with tenants and vendors, schedule repairs, and ensure tasks are completed on time.
Main Responsibilities:
- Receive, review, and prioritize incoming maintenance requests from tenants
- Create and manage work orders in AppFolio (property management software)
- Coordinate scheduling between tenants, vendors, building supers, and management
- Track work orders from start to completion, ensuring timely follow-ups
- Maintain organized records of communications, quotes, invoices, and service reports
Requirements:
- Excellent English (spoken & written)
- Remote work experience
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Professional communication and problem-solving approach with the ability to think outside the box
- Responsible, proactive, and detail-oriented
- Strong accountability, able to handle tasks from start to finish
- Time management skills, good research skills, and creativity when finding solutions
