We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our Finance team in Albania. The ideal candidate has proven experience working in an international company, managing global vendors, international payments, and multi-currency transactions. This role requires a hands-on professional who can maintain accurate financial records, work closely with external accountants and auditors, and implement strong financial processes and controls in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish, implement, and improve financial processes, controls, and accounting procedures in line with international best practices.
- Manage daily bookkeeping activities, including AP, AR, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
- Handle international payments, multi-currency transactions, and vendor management.
- Work closely with external accountants, auditors, and tax advisors.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Improve and implement accounting procedures, controls, and financial processes.
- Support a fast-growing business with efficient and accurate financial operations.

5 years of bookkeeping/ accounting experience.
- Mandatory experience working in an international company.
- Experience with international vendors, cross-border payments, and multi-currency transactions.
- Experience working with external auditors and accounting firms.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, and reporting processes.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Excellent written and spoken English skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software, Google Sheets, and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently.
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
