Role Summary
Baruti AG is seeking a senior Financial Analyst with strong technological skills to join its Kosovo Branch in Pristina, Kosovo. This practical analytical position extends beyond conventional finance work, involving oversight of operational and financial results, identification of variances affecting P&L, and creation of automated reporting solutions through modern tools and AI technologies. The role supports collaboration across Finance, Operations, and HR, while delivering timely, accurate, and useful business insights to management.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Monitoring & Reporting
- Compile and oversee monthly reports on financial health that include key operational and financial indicators.
- Follow branch-level P&L results, identify operational deviations, and clarify their financial consequences.
- Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements together with management reports.
- Work closely with the headquarters in Zug to ensure group reporting and financial consistency.
Automation & Technology
- Develop and put in place automated reporting processes using AI technologies and modern data tools.
- Regularly enhance and automate recurring financial and operational reporting in order to reduce manual work.
- Assess and introduce reporting tools and management solutions that strengthen visibility and support better decisions.
- Maintain and further develop advanced Excel models, including dynamic dashboards, macros, and financial models.
- Create and manage Power BI reports and dashboards for tracking operational and financial KPIs.
Cross Departmental Collaboration
- Cooperate with Operations to track staffing cost drivers, utilization, and productivity measures.
- Work with HR on headcount reporting, payroll reconciliation, and analysis of workforce costs.
- Assist Finance with budgeting, forecasting, and cost center controlling tasks.
- Deliver ad-hoc financial analysis and scenario modeling to help management decision-making.
Compliance & Controls
- Make sure financial transactions are recorded accurately and on time in accordance with applicable standards.
- Contribute to internal and external audits and support compliance with local financial regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Informatics, or a related field.
- At least 2–4 years of relevant background in financial analysis, controlling, or FP&A.
- Advanced command of Microsoft Excel, including complex models, pivot tables, Power Query, and macros/VBA.
- Proven experience with data analytics tools and structured reporting processes.
- Strong analytical ability, including interpreting large datasets, spotting patterns, and linking operational drivers to financial results.
- Experience in monitoring operational P&L variances and preparing actionable management reports.
- A real interest in technology, including AI-assisted reporting, automation, and digital finance tools.
- Fluency in Albanian, both written and spoken, and at least English B2+.
Preferred:
- Practical experience with Power BI or similar BI and visualization platforms.
- Familiarity with management reporting tools or financial planning platforms.
- Familiarity with AI-driven tools used for reporting automation, such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini integrations, or low-code automation platforms.
- Previous experience in a BPO, shared services environment, or an international company with multiple entities.
- German language knowledge is considered an advantage, but it is not mandatory.
- Knowledge of ERP systems, such as QuickBooks and Syft Analtics.
- Familiarity with Kosovo’s local tax and accounting regulations is required.
