- Role Summary: The Sales Specialist is the frontline engine of Baboon's growth. Responsible for acquiring new restaurant and business partners, managing existing relationships, and driving revenue growth across an assigned territory. This is a field-heavy, high-energy role ideal for someone who enjoys meeting people, closing deals, and contributing to Albania's tech ecosystem.
Responsibilities:
Partner Acquisition:
- Identify, prospect, and onboard new restaurant and retail partners to the Baboon platform.
- Conduct in-person visits, product demos, and commercial negotiations.
- Own the full sales cycle from first contact to contract signature and go-live.
- Maintain an active pipeline in the CRM system with accurate, up-to-date records.
Account Management & Partner Retention:
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with existing restaurant partners.
- Conduct regular partner performance reviews and identify upselling opportunities.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to execute promotional campaigns for partners.
- Resolve partner issues and escalate when necessary, ensuring partner satisfaction.
Market Intelligence & Reporting:
- Monitor competitor activity and report market trends to management.
- Provide weekly pipeline and activity reports via the WBR reporting framework.
- Contribute feedback from the field to inform product, pricing, and marketing decisions.
Qualifications:
Must-Have:
- 1–3 years of experience in sales, field sales, account management, or business development.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Self-starter with excellent time management and the ability to work independently in the field.
- Proficiency in Albanian (native); English is a strong plus.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to do regular field visits.
- Comfort with CRM tools and digital reporting platforms.
Nice-to-Have:
- Prior experience in food & beverage, hospitality, or tech platform sales.
- Familiarity with the Albanian restaurant market and key city-level contacts.
- Experience selling SaaS or B2B software.
- Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
